Cruise Week: First Full Day at Sea

On the 7 night Eastern Caribbean Cruise, we had 2 full days at sea before we had out first port stop.  Our first day at sea was so relaxing and enjoyable.  We were able to sleep in a little without feeling rush to get the day started.  After breakfast we looked at the Navigator and decided what things we really wanted to do during the day.

Of course, my little girl had to go meet Sofia.  The boys didn't care anything about seeing Sofia, so they went on up to the pool deck.

After meeting Sofia, we went to join the boys at the pool.

The kids (and parents too) were pretty bummed that the AquaDuck was closed because of the high winds.  The winds were really strong and there were some decent sized waves going on, but we didn't really feel those too much.  So we made the best of the AquaDuck closure by swimming and the kids rode the Mickey Slide.

After some fun in the pool, the kids wanted to go to the kid clubs.  Before the younger two headed to the Oceaneer Club we had to see Jasmine, Aladdin and Genie.

Tonight was the formal night on board with a reception to meet the Captain of the Ship. The kids thought it was neat to meet him, but then they questioned if he was meeting us, who was in charge of driving the ship!  Mickey had it under control though!

Tonight we had dinner in the Royal Court.  It was the perfect setting for formal night.

We tried escargot!  I didn't love it, but I tried it!

All is well with the world when he got his Mickey bar.

We had the most amazing servers.  Our main one did magic tricks for the kids every night and also started making oragami.  My oldest would go back to the room every night and try to make something to take and show our server.

Every night we came back to some amazing creture on our bed.  I know the pictures can be hard to figure out, but tonight it was a Lobster.

All the stuffed animals were in a neat arrangement every night too.
