Day 2 was another full day at sea. I loved having two full days to enjoy the ship before we came to a port. I have told many people that the cruise was the most relaxing vacation we ever had. We took out time getting up in the morning, went to breakfast and just relaxed on the ship. We spent some more time at the pool and also took some time to play the Mid-Ship Detective Agency game.
There are three games to choose from...The Case of the Plundering Paintings, The Case of the Missing Puppies, and The Case of the Stolen Show. You start by picking your game, then you get a badge and a map of the ship. The game takes you around the ship to various enchanted paintings around the ship. When you hold your badge up it opens a screen that has an activity and gives you a clue. You mark off the suspects until you solve the crime.
After playing the game it was time for us to go meet Elsa and Anna. This was one of the two "ticketed" meet and greets on board. The tickets are free, but you have to go to the guest services desk to get them. They only have so many for the entire cruise, so it is best to get them early. Our ticket had a time on it for us to meet the princesses from Frozen.
We loved looking out the portholes at the beautiful turquoise water.
The kids loved the porthole seats around the ship.
Mommy and her princess
I love her face in this photo...she giggled so much on this vacation.
Each ship has a statue in the Atrium. The Fantasy has Mademoiselle Minnie.
Twice a day the state room hosts clean the rooms. The come in and make up our beds during the morning and come back at night to turn down the beds. Ederson apparently had a lot of fun playing with all our stuffed animals. We couldn't wait to see what he would do each day.
The beautiful Walt Disney Theater was where we watched the nightly shows. They asked that we did not take photos during the shows, so I do not have any of the actual shows.
More Porthole photos...
We pre-purchased our photos from the cruise, so we took advantage of all the photo spots each evening before and after dinner.
Tonight dinner was at Animator's Palate. We were so excited to eat here. It was the one restaurant that my kids had heard about before our cruise and they were anxious.
Everything is themed to art/drawing...
All around the restaurant there are screens and the characters interact with the guests. It is very similar to Turtle Talk with Crush at Epcot.
Our cruise was just a few days after Jaycee's birthday, so they brought her a birthday cupcake.
The cute bear waiting for us when we got back to the room.
Another amazing day comes to an end. Tomorrow we prepare for our first port with a stop in the gorgeous Saint Thomas. We are going snorkeling with sea turtles.
